About Me

My photo
ted
I've done a few things in my life. Gone to war...taught a little university...done some professional writing...traveled and spoken around the country and world...acted a little...written four books and spent a lot of my life in the Biblical Scriptures as well as finding comfort in the writings of thinkers, who seemed to express things I have felt, but for which I simply could not find words. Writing this blog helps me try to understand who I am. I suppose like all of us, life is not always clear...the answers not always simple...the pathway often uncertain. As the stages of life unfold - the energy of youth...the inquisitiveness of the second and third decades...the routine working years...and finally the glide path pointed toward a terminal landing - each has its benefits and its rewards. In the final quarter of my life, there is much to process...much to see...much more to understand. This journey is full of the unexpected - the unguarded moments that bring with them quality nuances that both edify and educate. The parts of life's journey I have been privileged to experience have been wonderful. One can only hope there is much more to come. '...onward and upward...'
